The platform is a culmination of Zach’s years of experience as a coach, as well as startup experience working in Global Strategy for Uber Eats.

While working at Uber, he started coaching to give back for his own second chance at health.

On Dec 27th, 2003, he almost lost his life to viral meningitis. He seized, coded, and was brought back to life by an amazing team of Doctors at San Diego Children’s Hospital.

But, as a coach, he was continually met with 2 large challenges:

1 – How to coach more clients with a limited amount of time?

2 – How to ensure every client received the personal attention necessary to be successful?

After speaking to other coaches in the industry, he learned that these 2 issues were a large cause of burnout and overwhelm for coaches.

This made Zach think of the doctors that had helped him – would he still be here if they had burned out?

He knew there had to be a better way…

And that’s why he created Duxata.
